Templates

Templates are pre-built timer sets for common event types. Each template includes timers with appropriate durations, triggers, and cue messages so you can get started quickly without building everything from scratch.

What's included in a template

Each template is a JSON file containing pre-configured timers with sensible defaults for that event type. Timers include appropriate durations, trigger settings (auto-start, manual, or at-time), and cue messages for wrap-up and danger cues.

How to use a template

  1. Browse the available templates at stagetick.io/en/templates/.
  2. Download the JSON file for the template you want.
  3. Open your room in the operator view.
  4. Use the Import function to load the JSON file into your room.
  5. Customize the timers, durations, and messages for your specific event.
Tip: Start with a template and adjust — it's faster than building from scratch.

Customizing templates

Templates are a starting point, not a rigid structure. After importing a template, you can freely edit any timer's title, duration, speaker name, trigger, appearance mode, or cue messages. You can also add new timers, reorder them, or delete any you do not need. The template does not lock you into a fixed configuration.
